What is "Green Technology"?

Green is the color for immaturity and inexperience. The ripe the fruit, the quicker it falls. As life is advancing every minute and maturing by attaining the saturation level it is reaching near the verge of decease. There is need to recover the early stage of earth.The environment which is messed up due to human intrusion needs to be slow down and adopting healthy ways towards life. Earth can be recovered by adopting green technology wisely. Green technology is the safeguard against environmental pollution. There are different techniques which if follows could be effective.

Masa Depan Industri Perkayuan Di Sabah Cerah

KOTA KINABALU, 20 Jan 2011 (Bernama) -- Lembaga Perindustrian Kayu Malaysia (MTIB) akan menubuhkan Makmal Industri Perkayuan Sabah bulan depan, kata pengerusi MTIB Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau.

Beliau berkata makmal itu bertujuan mengumpul maklumat dan meningkatkan penyertaan pengusaha industri kayu dalam merangka program dan aktiviti untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah hasil kayu di negeri ini.

Increase Demand Of Malaysia Timber

Despite from the market turmoil and decline of European demand for our timber, Malaysia's exports of timber products in 2012 is expected to be better than last year said by Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister, Tan Sri Bernard Dompok (The Star On-Line: 6 March 2012).

This statement was earlier stated by BorneoPost Online, Article dated 5 April 2011 where timber products exports are to increase this year following higher demand from Japan which may rise by at least five per cent from its normal requirement due to reconstruction and rehabilitation projects underway after the disastrous March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

Forest Type In Sabah

The natural vegetation of Sabah is mainly influenced by two factors: soil (edaphic factor) and elevation (altitudinal zonation) (www.forest.sabah.gov.my). Thus, more than 10 forest types can be recognized.

Contribution Of Forestry Sector In Sabah

The wood industry is a backbone of socio-economic development in the State of Sabah for the past year long and still maintaining its momentum as a primary economy resources in Sabah nowadays. The forest revenues in 2010 is worth RM297 million and its contribution to our government is approximately 7% out of total revenue comprehensively.
